10/22/98 ...Everything was quiet and peaceful, when suddenly, the unexpected happened. Patsy the Happy Girl felt a cold unlike any she had ever known as the spider's venom drained the color from her cheeks.

10/26/98 What a tangled web. Ron Doss, ace reporter for the local news WTVD channel 11 reported live from the scene - Film at 5:30 10/27/98 (or maybe the next day, check back for more details). As the anonymous cameraman zoomed in for a closeup, Ron helped his audience to put it all into perspective.

10/27/98 A fair and objective reporter, Ron Doss knew better than to get tangled up in the stories he covered. As the spider lifted him into the air and sank its fangs into his neck, he calmly told his audience what he felt. Anonymous cameraman moved in for a close-up as the spider moved in for the kill. "Don't worry Ron," he cried triumphantly. "I got it all. Now we just need a teaser and it's a wrap." "I'll try," Ron answered feebly, as he sank into unconsciousness.
